THIS IS AN ENHANCED PRINT
This is a high-quality print of my work on archival art paper. I enhance my prints using either ink, paint, pastel, or a combination of mediums. Each one is unique. This piece is mounted on wood and ready to hang out of the box. It is completely hand-crafted by (me) the artist, with unique texture patterns added by hand. No two are the same. These pieces are signed and dated on the back by the artist.
ARTWORK STORY
This work is called Clover & Doves and is inspired by love and freedom. Doves, pigeons white in plumage, are used in many settings as symbols of peace, freedom, or love. Over a decade ago, I left the corporate world and pursued a life of freedom. However, I didn’t know where to start, and I figured I would be on this mysterious journey on my own. I swore off relationships since every relationship I had up until then was disastrous. It was then that I met my wife Klee. Klee is an unusual first name but a common last name that means clover in German. We found that tidbit of information while living on the road and befriending a traveler from Germany. Years later, I wanted to capture the feeling of falling in love with another person looking for freedom and peace from the ordinary world. Klee is Irish, so I thought it was interesting that her name means Clover, and since we embarked on this journey, everything seems to fall into place perfectly.
