There is a special kind of magic in breathing new life into forgotten materials. In this collection, the canvas is replaced by reclaimed wood, weathered planks, old fencing, and discarded timber that already carry the marks of time and history. I don’t try to hide the knots, the cracks, or the rough-hewn textures; I let them dictate the flow of the painting.
