Growing up, I was the smart, quiet, people-pleasing invisible boy sitting in the corner of the room. During my life, I began to realize that I wasn’t going to get to where I wanted in life if I didn’t allow myself to break free of the cocoon I had formed around myself. We all have a cacoon based on our upbringing, but that is just the chrysalis that allows us to form. What and who we are runs deeper than what is on the surface.
