“First Blush” Fireball Pearl Flower Bud Necklace – A stunning genuine baroque Fireball Pearl is the focal point of this romantic and elegant pendant necklace, set in solid sterling silver.

This design is all about the beauty and romance of flower buds in early spring, just before they open. A one of a kind sterling silver flower bud cap was created using an unconventional technique called “water casting” where solid sterling silver is torch fired to a molten state and dropped into ice water to produce organic shapes. The shape I got was exactly what I was going for, a sort of romantic and abstract flower cup shape into which I carefully set the iridescent blush pink pearl. I finished it with a solid sterling silver hand forged pin hook and solid sterling silver chain. It’s lovely and dreamy!

THE DETAILS

-Genuine freshwater fireball pearl, baroque round in shape with lots of surface texture as typical of fireball pearls. Completely untreated and undyed, with gorgeous iridescent color and luster.

-Body color of pearl is soft creamy blush pink with gold, green blue, lavender and pink overtones. It really shows a nice rainbow of color.

-Pearl was hand selected by me from a highly trusted collector and distributor of fine pearls, based in Tennessee and Florida, with over 4 decades of continual successful business in the pearl industry.

-Completely hand forged in solid sterling silver. Abstract flower bud cap was water casted and can never be duplicated. A hand forged solid sterling silver pin securely sets the pearl into the flower cap and completes the design.

-Pearl dangles from a solid sterling silver 1mm cable chain, finished with spring ring clasp. Chain is 24″ length.

-Pendant measures 19mm (3/4″ not including top loop) length, by 15mm (just under 5/8″) width at widest point of pearl.
