Dainty Minimalist December Birthstone Necklace – Genuine Faceted Periwinkle Tanzanite
A lovely, delicate little collarbone style necklace featuring a gorgeous single faceted genuine tanzanite. Perfect minimalist design to wear alone or layer with other necklaces. Choose from Sterling silver, 14k Yellow Gold Filled, or 14k Rose Gold Filled.
The birthstones for December are Turquoise, Tanzanite, and Zircon.
Tanzanite is known as the “Stone of spiritual mastery.”
For this necklace design, I’ve chosen a beautiful genuine faceted tanzanite as the centerpiece. The tanzanite used for this design are beautifully faceted, untreated and super sparkly. They are a soft periwinkle blue in color, and are translucent with some beautiful inclusions.
This necklace is made to order and no two tanzanite are exactly the same. Yours will be created just for you in your choice of length and metal.
THE DETAILS
-A single genuine faceted tanzanite is the centerpiece of this dainty necklace.
-I will choose a tanzanite from my collection to create your bespoke necklace. (Last photo shows a portion of my faceted tanzanite selection.) Each one is unique and they are all beautiful.
-Tanzanite are a color range of light to medium periwinkle blue tones (some slightly lighter, some slightly deeper), and are translucent with unique inclusions. They all average 4-5mm in size.
-Tanzanite is connected directly to a lovely, delicate and sparkly cable chain which is finished with a spring ring clasp and figure eight loop with bead detail at the back. Please Note Fine chain is delicate and should be treated with due care to help prevent breakage.
-Choose your necklace length from the drop menu. Necklaces shown in photos are 15″ length.
-Offered in your choice of metal: Solid Sterling Silver, 14k Yellow Gold Filled, 14k Rose Gold Filled. Choose your metal from the drop menu.

ABOUT GOLD FILLED JEWELRY
Gold-filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of gold, which must constitute at least 5% (1/20) of the item’s total weight, mechanically bonded to sterling silver or a base metal (such as jeweler’s brass). Gold-filled items are 5 to 10 times thicker than regular gold plating, and 15 to 25 times thicker than gold electroplate, making it much more valuable and longer lasting because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film as on plated jewelry which is estimated to be 0.05% or less of the metal product. Most gold-filled is 12kt or 14kt gold-filled (I use 14kt for my pieces). Gold-filled does not de-laminate or peel like plated or “dipped” products. It is tarnish resistant and does not tarnish as readily as silver. Many find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. However, from time to time your jewelry may become dirty from everyday wear. To clean gold-filled it is best to use mild soap and water.
