We believe so many things hold no basis in reality other than the myths and legends passed down the generations. We attempt to heroically navigate our world based on ideas that existed before we were born. We get drunk and jump over the flame, hoping we will have another year of good luck. We allow circumstances and rhetoric to dictate how we feel about our own lives, yet the flame responds, “I am but a reflection of the light within you, shining brightest in the darkness.”
