The satellite ring band is a minimalist rustic hammer forged sterling silver band that is just a bit taller than it is wide, giving it the look and the name of “satellite”. Rich classic hammered texture unique to each one. Slim but sturdy, this ring looks great on men and women. It also stacks beautifully with other bands.

Designed out of a desire for ultimate comfort and beauty in simplicity, I wanted this ring to “orbit” a finger as effortlessly and gracefully as possible. I needed a wedding band that was so non-intrusive that I could wear it while working, showering, sleeping, etc. My husband Rafi needed a band that was thin (his fingers get too hot under a wide band) but still really sturdy. We both wanted a band that looked beautiful and unique. I can’t say it’s the most comfortable ring you’ll ever own, but I can say it’s the most comfortable ring I own ( Rafi thinks so too), and the only piece of jewelry that I wear 24/7.

THE DETAILS

-Hammer forged solid sterling silver ring, rustic hammered texture.

-I start with solid 12 gauge sterling silver stock which gets hammer formed and shaped completely by hand into a band with it’s own unique rustic texture, no two are ever the same. After the hammer forming, it gets meticulously refined, filed and polished by hand, to ensure that it is absolutely comfortable to wear.

-This is a slim but sturdy band, measuring just under 2mm (1/16″) width, and just over 2mm thickness (inside to outside). Please allow for slight variances, as these are hand forged.

-Band is made to your custom ring size, simply select your size from the drop menu. Please see “size chart” tab for more detailed sizing guidelines.

-Ring is finished by polishing to a high shine finish which looks great and protects the integrity of the metal. You may special request a more matte finish if desired, but please keep in mind that the metal will patina more quickly if given a matte finish.

-One side of band is stamped with my “KA” maker’s mark, and .925 sterling silver hallmark.
