This piece is about being reborn from chaos. It is symbolic of my journey, that I know many have shared.

The surface of the canvas is fractured, restless, and scarred. It is marked by the movement, pressure, and repetition of human concepts. Lines radiate outward like shockwaves, as if something has just broken through. Nothing here is gentle. This is not rebirth as a clean beginning, but rebirth forged through tension, collapse, and persistence.

The horizontal divide reads as a threshold, a horizon between what was and what is becoming. The face emerges directly from that rupture. Not fully formed. Not fully free. It is caught in the moment where chaos no longer destroys, but reshapes.

This work reflects the truth that growth often arrives after our perspective of the world fails. After certainty cracks and we see that there is more beyond the barriers we have built. After the structures we leaned on can no longer hold. The materials feel pressed and worked because rebirth is rarely effortless. It is earned through pressure, confusion, and staying present when everything feels unstable.

Rarely do we rise triumphantly.
Instead, we push our way forward.

This is the moment after collapse, when something new begins to breathe. A new us. Still raw, but undeniably alive.
