Description
ABOUT THIS PIECE Part of the Faeologia specimen collection, the Green-Winged Canary Fairy (Fata chloroptera) was created out of a desire to intertwine the fantasy world into the real world in a place where anything is possible. My goal was to make it feel as though you just walked into an old, forgotten workshop where someone spent an entire lifetime studying and documenting the supernatural. Handcrafted with polymer clay, feathery wings, and intricate mixed materials, this dark fantasy sculpture is pinned and captured inside a shadowbox frame to bring an authentic, eerie, cabinet-of-curiosities aesthetic to life.
