“First Blush” Fireball Pearl Flower Bud Earrings – A stunning pair of genuine baroque Fireball Pearls is the focal point of these dramatic and elegant statement earrings, set in solid sterling silver.

This design is all about the beauty and romance of flower buds in early spring, just before they open. One of a kind sterling silver flower bud caps were created using an unconventional technique called “water casting” where solid sterling silver is torch fired to a molten state and dropped into ice water to produce organic shapes. The shapes I got were exactly what I was going for, these sort of romantic and abstract flower cup shapes into which I carefully set the iridescent blush pink pearls. I finished them with solid sterling silver hand forged pin hooks. They’re romantic and dreamy!

THE DETAILS

-Genuine freshwater fireball pearls, baroque round in shape with lots of surface texture as typical of fireball pearls. Completely untreated and undyed, with gorgeous iridescent color and luster.

-Body color of pearls is soft creamy blush pink with gold, green blue, lavender and pink overtones. They really show a nice rainbow of color.

-Pearls are not identical to one another, as they each have their own unique features, however they are well matched in size, shape, luster and color tones.

-Pearls were hand selected by me from a highly trusted collector and distributor of fine pearls, based in Tennessee and Florida, with over 4 decades of continual successful business in the pearl industry.

-Completely hand forged in solid sterling silver. Abstract flower bud caps are water casted and each one is unique. Hand forged solid sterling silver pins that flow directly into the hooks set the pearls and complete the design. Hooks are 22 gauge thickness (comfortable but sturdy).

-Total length of earrings from top of hooks to bottom of design is 30mm (about 1 1/4″). Pearls are about 15mm (just under 5/8″) width.

I hand selected a small batch of these fireball pearls, because I could not leave without them. These are some of the finest fireball pearls I have seen.

These pearls come from the Yangtze River in China. Yangtze River fireball pearls are known for their high luster and intensity of color.
