This piece lives in the space between strength and vulnerability.

The figure stands bare, not in shame, but in honesty. There is no armor here. No performance. Just presence. The wings suggest protection, divinity, or transcendence, yet they do not shield her completely. Instead, they feel heavy, earned, not decorative. Wings are often symbols of freedom, but they also carry responsibility, memory, and the weight of what we’ve survived.

The fiery background speaks to transformation. Fire destroys, but it also refines. It is the place where comfort burns away and truth is revealed.
