Thank you everyone for the happy birthday wishes yesterday! I adore you all so much! I had an awesome day hanging out with the love of my life and kept things lowkey. I decided to take the day off yesterday. Then (because we are artists) I decided that I wanted to get started on a mural for our media studio. This will be a project I work on little by little throughout the year and I’m excited about it!

Hi all! (Klee here) Wishing a happy birthday to Rafi!! This incredible man, who is my partner and best friend, and who recently took on a full time gig as “nurse Rafi”, taking care of me while we navigated my health challenges and recovery, while running our business and being the best life partner a human could ever ask for. He never once complained or made me feel anything but absolutely loved. It’s my wish for him on his birthday that he knows just how endlessly and how much he is loved by me.

Last year was a whirlwind of challenges, creativity, and growth. It was a year that tested us, inspired us, and taught us so much about resilience. Through it all, we poured ourselves into creating art and jewelry, sharing our hearts and vision with the world. We stepped out into the community, doing shows, playing music, and hosting workshops to inspire fellow creatives. We even had the honor of assisting with the first makerspace in the area—something that will empower so many for years to come.
But life wasn’t without its hurdles. Since 2024 started we had some personal challenges, and since May, health challenges tried to slow us down. But they also forced us to reflect, adapt, and grow. As much as we may have accomplished creatively, last year was one of transition—a reminder that growth often happens in the messy, uncertain spaces where we learn to rise above what holds us back.
And now, here we are in 2025, standing at the edge of possibility with a renewed sense of purpose. The struggles of last year have become the foundation for the epicness we’re building this year. We’ve learned lessons we never expected, discovered strengths we didn’t know we had, and grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined.
Such is life—a beautiful, chaotic dance of creation, challenge, and growth. And all we can do is embrace it, learn from it, and keep moving forward with hearts wide open and hands ready to create. Here’s to an incredible year ahead—let’s make it unforgettable!

This photo was taken in 2010, just after Klee and I filmed our very first music video. A whole 15 years have passed since then, but it’s been like cramming several lifetimes into one.
Klee and I had met just a year earlier, two creative humans on a mission of self-discovery, armed with guitars, a cheap camera, and more ambition than ever to enjoy life. We blazed our own trail—sometimes running, sometimes tripping face-first into the dirt, but always getting back up.
Fast-forward to now: this past month has been the most challenging stretch of our journey—health scares, stress, and a lot of unanswered questions. But here’s the twist ending: we made it through. Klee now has a confirmed diagnosis of chronic colitis, and while it’s not the news anyone hopes for, it’s news—a concrete answer to work with. And better yet, there’s a plan!
Therapy begins on the 28th, and in the meantime, Klee is feeling better every day. Watching her strength and resilience has been like seeing a masterpiece come together, one brushstroke at a time. (Cue the romantic, artsy metaphor. You saw that coming, didn’t you?)
So, here’s the moral of the story: life is messy, unpredictable, and sometimes feels like it’s actively trying to trip you up. But when you’ve got someone by your side who makes the messy parts worth it, you find a way to keep going. You dust yourself off, face the next challenge, and keep writing the story.
Fifteen years in, and we’re still adventuring, still creating, and still learning how to navigate this beautiful chaos. Here’s to the next chapter—because the best stories always have a few plot twists.
