The handwritten phrase becomes part of the composition, grounding the imagery in a simple but powerful reminder of our shared origin.

Artist Statement
This work explores the idea that we are both fragile and vast at the same time. The silhouetted figure, protected only by an umbrella, stands against a textured, atmospheric backdrop while carrying an entire universe within them. It speaks to the quiet truth that even in moments of vulnerability, we are made of something immeasurable.

Working on paper allows the piece to stay raw and direct. The textures, imperfections, and visible layers mirror the human experience itself—messy, layered, and constantly in motion. We Are Stardust is a reminder that no matter how small or exposed we may feel, we are connected to something much larger than ourselves, shaped by the same matter as the stars.
