“Convergence” – The coming together of two worlds. This unique Tree of Life necklace is all about the bringing together of energies and the embracing of duality.
This Variscite stone is rounded rectangle cut and pops with true mint green color. The setting is unique, forged in solid antiqued sterling silver and 14k rose gold filled, merged together with a double spiral backing. Mounted in a very secure 14k rose gold filled and antiqued sterling silver bezel, which flows together beautifully into the two toned tree design on the front of the stone. Completing the design is a very sturdy antiqued sterling silver and 14k rose gold filled chain with fine silver nugget accents and an extender, making it adjustable and versatile.
This necklace is one of a kind, you will receive the exact one shown in the photos. Necklace has been photographed from various angles and lighting to best capture it’s dynamic colors.
THE DETAILS
-Pendant measures 30mm (just under 1 1/4″) tall (not including the top loop which adds about 1/4″), 25mm (1″) wide, and about 8mm (just over 1/4″) deep.
-The stone is a genuine natural rounded rectangle cut Variscite, mint green in color and opaque, with deep green/grey veining.
-Setting is entirely hand forged and woven in 14k rose gold filled and solid antiqued Sterling silver. On the back side, where the spirals meet and connect with the backplate, they are permanently welded together with 14k rose gold solder.
-Chain is a two toned 1.5mm cable chain in antiqued solid sterling silver and 14k rose gold filled. The rose part of the chain is doubled up for extra sturdiness and visual interest. Fine silver nuggets adorn the chain and connect the two parts. Finished with a rose gold filled extender chain and sterling silver spring ring clasp.
-Chain is adjustable from 28″ to 30″

ABOUT VARISCITE
Variscite is a rare hydrated aluminum phosphate mineral, often confused with turquoise (and closely related to turquoise as well) but with it’s own distinctive color. Originally discovered in 1837 in Germany, deposits of Variscite are now known in other parts of the world, but it remains a rare gem.
Variscite is sometimes called a “true worry stone” because it is said to help alleviate fear, tension, anxiety, stress, worry, impatience and sadness. In addition to calming the mind, it is believed to help improve clarity, focus, and logic.
ABOUT GOLD FILLED JEWELRY
Gold-filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of gold, which must constitute at least 5% (1/20) of the item’s total weight, mechanically bonded to sterling silver or a base metal (such as jeweler’s brass). Gold-filled items are 5 to 10 times thicker than regular gold plating, and 15 to 25 times thicker than gold electroplate, making it much more valuable and longer lasting because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film as on plated jewelry which is estimated to be 0.05% or less of the metal product. Most gold-filled is 12kt or 14kt gold-filled (I use 14kt for my pieces). Gold-filled does not de-laminate or peel like plated or “dipped” products. It is tarnish resistant and does not tarnish as readily as silver. Many find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. However, from time to time your jewelry may become dirty from everyday wear. To clean gold-filled it is best to use mild soap and water.
