Description
THIS IS AN ENHANCED PRINT
This is a high-quality print of my work on archival art paper. I enhance my prints using either ink, paint, pastel, or a combination of mediums. Each one is unique. This piece is mounted on wood and ready to hang out of the box. It is completely hand-crafted by (me) the artist, with unique texture patterns added by hand. No two are the same. These pieces are signed and dated on the back by the artist.
ARTWORK STORY
Crows have carried the weight of symbolism for centuries—sometimes feared, sometimes revered, always misunderstood… kinda like most of us creatives.
Across cultures and time, the crow has been the messenger, the trickster, the watcher at the edge of the veil. In Celtic lore, they were omens of transformation and guardians of sacred mysteries. In Native American traditions, they often represented the power of creation, spiritual law, and the magic of shape-shifting. In Norse mythology, Odin had two—Huginn and Muninn—thought and memory, flying across the world to bring him knowledge.
This painting, The Scream of Becoming, is my tribute to that ancient, feathered force of nature. The crow here isn’t perched calmly delivering wisdom—it’s mid-flight, mid-yell, mid-what the hell is even happening right now—and that’s exactly the point.
Transformation doesn’t always arrive with grace. Sometimes it dive-bombs your life with wild wings and a voice that cuts through the noise. That’s what this piece is: the moment you stop pretending you’ve got it all figured out and just become the damn crow—chaotic, clever, loud, and completely in your element.
The splattered background is the battlefield of becoming—the chaos of change, of rebirth, of letting go of what you were to become what you’re meant to be. This crow isn’t here to gently whisper ancient wisdom—it’s here to scream it in your face: you are powerful, and your mess is part of the magic.
So let the world hear your caw. Fly ugly. Fly bold. Fly anyway.
