Artist Statement “This piece is a visual reminder to slow down and find the magic in the mundane. We often spend our lives waiting for the ‘big’ moments (the milestones and the grand adventures) but life actually happens in the spaces between.
By placing a single autumn leaf within the frame of a book, I wanted to treat a simple memory like a sacred text. It’s an exploration of how we archive our lives; ‘Love is stopping and enjoying the little things.’ This artwork is an invitation to be present, to collect the quiet memories of your everyday adventures, and to realize that the small details are actually the things that make life feel whole.”
