from The Nature of Being series

The Beginning of Life is about the quiet, mysterious moment where existence first stirs before words, before identity, before certainty. It explores life as a collaboration between earth and cosmos, where roots reach downward into darkness while consciousness stretches upward toward light.

The figures are intertwined, not separate. One is grounded, celestial, and inward, holding the weight of potential and memory. The other emerges through growth, branches, and bloom, shaped by nourishment, struggle, and time. Together they form a cycle, creation giving birth to awareness and awareness feeding creation.

The cascading branches and blossoms represent possibility, fragile, fleeting, and luminous. They are moments, thoughts, breaths, and choices unfolding all at once. The glowing center is not a destination, but a reminder that life begins again and again, each time we allow ourselves to grow, connect, and transform.

This piece is less about a single beginning and more about the beginning itself, the one that repeats endlessly in nature, in us, and in the quiet spaces where becoming starts.
