Artist Statement “This piece is about the power of perspective and the choice to truly see the world (and each other) with intention. We live in a fast-paced world where we often only catch glimpses of the people around us, barely scratching the surface of their depth.

By layering these gazes behind bold, stenciled text, I wanted to create a visual ‘pause’. It’s an exploration of connection and the quiet intensity found in a single moment of eye contact. The swirling, textured background represents the constant movement of life, while the eyes remain grounded and present. This artwork is a call to action: stop the noise, look deeper, and find the humanity that often hides in plain sight.”
