Say what you want to say with this rustic hand wrought personalized vertical sterling silver bar necklace. Looks fantastic by itself or layered with other necklaces. This double sided reversible design features a subtle rustic texture and custom stamping on both sides, so you can wear it two ways.

I start with solid 8 gauge sterling silver wire which gets hammer formed and shaped completely by hand into a vertical bar pendant with it’s own unique rustic texture, no two are ever the same. After the hammer forming, it gets meticulously refined, filed and polished by hand, to ensure that it is beautiful and long lasting. A solid sterling silver chain sized to your desired length completes the design.

This necklace is made to order, no two are exactly the same. Yours will be custom created for you with your choice of chain length and personalization details.

THE DETAILS

-Pendant is solid sterling silver, hammer formed and hand stamped.

-Reversible design features double sided custom stamping.

-Pendant length will vary depending on your requested stamping but average length is 25-38mm (1″-1 1/2″) (not including top loop which adds about 1/4″), 6mm (1/4″) width and 1mm thickness.

-One side of bar is stamped with a small “.925″ stamp at the very bottom to denote that the necklace is solid sterling silver.

-Stamped characters are darkened to make them pop but you can request I skip this step if you want the stamping to appear more subtle.

-Chain is a solid sterling silver 1.1mm cable chain. I have upgraded the chain since taking these listing photos. The new chain is similar in look and width but it is stronger and more durable.

-Choose your desired chain length from the drop down menu. (Necklace in photos is 18” chain length).

-Your choice of hammered hook and loop clasp (shown in photos) or small spring ring clasp, simply select your choice from the drop menu.

PERSONALIZATION GUIDELINES

-Use the personalization box to enter the stamping you would like, please check spelling carefully as I will stamp exactly what you have entered onto the bar.

-Please keep your custom stamping at or under 10 characters (including spaces) on each side of the bar as anything over 10 may result in an awkwardly long bar pendant. If you need slightly over, please message me so I can see if it will work.

-Use the font style drop menu to request the font be all uppercase, all lowercase, or exactly as you have typed it in the box. If none are specified, default is all uppercase.

-Use the lettering orientation drop menu to request your stamping characters be side by side, or top to bottom. Refer to the last photo for stamping orientation examples and if you have any questions, just ask. If none are specified, default is top to bottom.

-Stamping can include letters, numbers, and common punctuation characters. If you’re not sure I have your desired character available, please feel free to check with me before ordering. You can put your favorite word, the name of someone special, a date you want to commemorate… you get the idea.

-I have some symbol stamps available such as hearts, stars, spirals, etc. If you would like a symbol added to your necklace please message me before purchase to see if I have it available.

NECKLACE LENGTH GUIDELINES

If you already know your desired necklace length, simply select it from the drop down menu. Sizes are listed by the inch. If you would like an in between size (example 18 1/2″) please select the closest size from the menu and then leave me a note at checkout requesting the size. I will accommodate the size request as closely as possible.

If you don’t know what length you need, here’s how to measure to get the proper size. Take a flexible tape measure and drape it around your neck at the length you want the necklace to lay. The measurement where the two ends meet is your necklace length.

If you don’t have a tape measure handy, you can use a string and a flat ruler. Simply drape the string around your neck in the same way as you would with a tape measure. Pinch the string on each end where the two ends meet, and then place that section of string against a flat ruler to get your measurement.

You can also measure the length of a necklace you own that fits how you like in order to get your measurement, but if you choose this method please try to measure a necklace that is of a similar style to this one or at least is designed to lay the same way. Different necklace styles can fit very differently even if they are the same length measured end to end.

That’s it! Then choose your necklace measurement from the drop down menu and I will create your necklace to your desired length.
