Sterling silver and molten 18k gold come together to create these beautiful statement earrings. Asymmetrical lengths and antiqued finish for a contemporary magical look.

I start with solid 8 gauge sterling silver which gets hammer formed and shaped completely by hand into vertical bars with their own unique rustic texture and nice weight. After the hammer forming, they get meticulously refined, filed and polished by hand, to ensure that they are beautiful and long lasting.

18k gold is permanently fused and forged into the silver to create the organic firefly look. Finished with solid sterling silver hooks featuring 14k yellow gold filled bead accents.

THE DETAILS

-Earrings are solid sterling silver, hammer formed and fused with 18k yellow gold. They have a nice weight and will not bend or distort with wear.

-Asymmetrical lengths and antiqued finish add a contemporary look and make the 18k gold pop!

-Silver and 18k bars measure 31mm and 34mm in length respectively, 5mm width, and 2mm thickness front to back.

-Total lengths of earrings from top of hook to bottom of bars are 45mm (1 3/4″) and 48mm (1 7/8″).

-Finished with solid sterling silver ear wires with 14k yellow gold filled bead accents.
