ARTIST STATEMENT

Spring Dreams is all about that moment when winter finally lets go and your mind starts to drift toward warmth, color, and new beginnings. This piece came from imagining what it feels like to be half awake, half dreaming, wrapped up in the hopefulness of spring before it even arrives.

The figure is curled inward, almost like she is resting inside her own imagination. Her hair flows around her like soft currents, carrying vibrant blooms that appear almost weightless. Each flower represents a different spark of renewal. A new idea. A new feeling. A little reminder that life has a way of blossoming even when everything still looks quiet on the surface.

In this painting, I wanted to capture the feeling of letting yourself drift into possibility. The dreamy state you sink into when you start imagining all the ways life can open up again. The colors, the movement, the calmness of the figure all reflect that early spring energy that feels both gentle and full of potential.
