This piece confronts the feeling of emptiness that goes deeper than hunger. The figure appears hollowed out, pulled inward, weighed down by both physical and emotional absence. The text surrounding the body reflects an internal dialogue, one that acknowledges the difference between needing nourishment and needing meaning, connection, or relief.
The use of ink on paper emphasizes vulnerability. The medium bleeds, drips, and stains, refusing clean edges or easy answers.
