“Own It” necklace. This piece was a happy accident. I have a made to order series of these necklaces and this one was supposed to say “Owen”. Except, I forgot the “e” when I was stamping it. I needed to start over on a new one for the customer, but rather than chucking this one aside as a failure, I chose to “own it. As in, own my mistake, but also acknowledge that it’s totally and completely okay to make mistakes, and sometimes a mistake can even become an awesome surprise. If that resonates, this “own it” necklace might just be for you.

I start with solid 8 gauge sterling silver wire which gets hammer formed and shaped completely by hand into a vertical bar pendant with it’s own unique rustic texture, no two are ever the same. After the hammer forming, it gets meticulously refined, filed and polished by hand, to ensure that it is beautiful and long lasting. A solid sterling silver chain completes the design.

This necklace is one of my favorite happy accidents, and this listing is for this exact one, already stamped with the words “Own It” on a 19″ antiqued sterling silver chain.

THE DETAILS

-Pendant is solid sterling silver, hammer forged and hand debossed (stamped).

-Reversible design features hammered texture on one side and “Own It” stamping on the other.

-Pendant length is 23mm (just over 7/8″) (not including top loop which adds about 1/4″), 6mm (1/4″) width and 1mm thickness.

-Hammered texture side is stamped with a small “.925″ quality stamp

-Chain is a solid sterling silver 1.1mm cable chain with spring ring clasp and antiqued (darkened) finish. Chain length is 19 inches.
