A luminous clear quartz crystal orb, nested in a two tone hand woven bezel of sterling silver and 14k yellow gold filled wire with fine silver nugget bead link. Dangling from a long two tone sterling silver and 14k gold filled chain with fine silver nugget accent.
The design is full of detail, reminiscent of shimmering scales and old world treasures, centering on the beauty of the light that passes through the quartz. A modern interpretation of a beautiful relic from times gone by, it is captivating worn alone or layered with other necklaces.
This necklace is made to order and no two quartz orbs are exactly the same. Yours will be created just for you.
-Necklace features a genuine polished 16mm round quartz crystal orb, center drilled. Quartz is water clear and some have hints of beautiful crystal inclusions.
-I will choose a quartz orb from my collection to create your bespoke necklace. Each one is unique and they are all beautiful, practically glowing when light passes through them.
-Quartz orb is nested in a two tone woven wire setting (sterling silver at bottom and 14k yellow gold filled at top). Orb is center drilled and the woven wire setting runs through the quartz as well, holding it securely in place.
-A fine silver (99.9% pure silver) 3mm nugget and 14k yellow gold filled wire link connects the pendant to the chain. Bead link adds to the delicate look of this design, but is very strong and secure.
-Pendant averages 16mm (about 5/8″) in size (not including the bead link, which adds about 3/8″).
-Pendant dangles from a two tone 1.1mm cable chain with small spring ring clasp. Chain is sterling silver and 14k yellow gold filled. A fine silver nugget bead link connects the silver and gold chain together and adds lovely detail.
-One third of the chain (8″) is sterling silver, and two thirds (16″) is 14k yellow gold filled. Spring clasp is 14k yellow gold filled with two yellow gold filled bead accents.
-Chain measures 24″ total in length. If you would like an alternate chain length or clasp, please message me for available options.

ABOUT GOLD FILLED JEWELRY
Gold-filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of gold, which must constitute at least 5% (1/20) of the item’s total weight, mechanically bonded to sterling silver or a base metal (such as jeweler’s brass). Gold-filled items are 5 to 10 times thicker than regular gold plating, and 15 to 25 times thicker than gold electroplate, making it much more valuable and longer lasting because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film as on plated jewelry which is estimated to be 0.05% or less of the metal product. Most gold-filled is 12kt or 14kt gold-filled (I use 14kt for my pieces). Gold-filled does not de-laminate or peel like plated or “dipped” products. It is tarnish resistant and does not tarnish as readily as silver. Many find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. However, from time to time your jewelry may become dirty from everyday wear. To clean gold-filled it is best to use mild soap and water.
ABOUT FINE SILVER
My fine silver beads and components are made completely by hand in the remote mountain area of Northern Thailand by the Karen Hill Tribe. Known and respected for their skill and expert craftsmanship in silver smithing, and using centuries old techniques, these artisans create pieces of a distinctive style unique to them. Karen Hill Tribe silver pieces are made of a higher purity than 92.5% sterling silver. Because the actual range is 95-99% purity, these pieces are softer, have a whiter color and will not tarnish as readily as sterling silver. Beads may have a visible seam. Sizes and shapes may vary slightly with these handcrafted items. All of my Hill Tribe fine silver is purchased directly from the source using ethical and fair trade practices.

Thank you for going the extra mile and shortening the chain of my necklace. I love it! The intricate weaving is awesome. Sorry for the late response. I’ve had email problems and didn’t want to inject my thank you into a video of a different subject. Make sense?? lol Big hug to you, Klee!!
