“Aura” Moonstone Crystal Point Earrings / Solid Sterling Silver / Genuine Moonstone Points

Description

Hammered sterling silver, torch fired sterling silver rivets and hand faceted polished moonstone crystal points make for a modern, fun and elegant pair of earrings. Dressed up or worn casual, they’ll look awesome with almost anything.

These earrings are one of a kind and you will receive the exact pair shown here. Translucent white in color with flash on at least one panel per crystal. Each crystal is unique but they are well matched in size, shape and faceting.

THE DETAILS

-Genuine polished, faceted rainbow moonstone points, each unique but well matched. These are translucent white in color with flash on at least one panel (sometimes two) for each crystal. The flash is not always on the front facing panel (sometimes on the sides) but these do have nice flash as they move around.

-Points measure 17-18mm (just under 3/4″) length and 6mm (1/4″) width.

-Earrings are an average total length of 40-41mm (1 5/8″) from the top of the earring hook to the bottom of the crystal.

-Drop length from the connecting point at bottom of earring hook to bottom of crystal is an average of 25-27mm (about 1″).

-Earring width is an average of 6-7mm (just over 1/4″) at the widest part of the sterling harness.

-Please allow for slight variances in measurements as these are natural stones that vary slightly in size.

-Solid hammered sterling silver arch harnesses create a beautiful setting for the points.

-Torch fired sterling silver rivets feature a ball on each side of the harness, holding the points securely in place but allowing them to rock in the setting.

-Rivets are left darkened from torch firing to add contrast and visual interest.

-Solid sterling silver earring hooks.

Named for it’s moon-like sheen, rainbow moonstone is a member of the feldspar group of minerals, exhibiting a light and color play known as Adularescence. It can show a variety of colors and was regarded throughout history as a prism and a tangible connection to the moon.
