This piece is an original texture print prototype, created during the early experimentation phase of my printmaking process. When I first decided to release prints of my work, I wasn’t interested in simply reproducing an image. I wanted to create prints that carried the same presence, depth, and integrity as the originals. That meant a lot of trial and error.

This work is one of those test subjects. It was part of a hands on exploration of different papers, inks, textures, and printing methods, all in search of a process that felt right. Some experiments succeeded, others failed, and each one taught me something that eventually shaped how I create prints today.

After nearly ten years tucked away in a drawer, this piece has resurfaced and is now being released to the public for the first time. It’s a quiet artifact from behind the scenes, raw, experimental, and honest, capturing a moment of creative problem solving and growth that most people never get to see.

THIS IS AN ENHANCED PRINT
This is a high-quality print of my work on archival art paper. I enhance my prints using either ink, paint, pastel, or a combination of mediums. Each one is unique. This piece is mounted on wood and ready to hang out of the box. It is completely hand-crafted by (me) the artist, with unique texture patterns added by hand. No two are the same. These pieces are signed and dated on the back by the artist.
