Description
A stunning pair of genuine baroque round Fireball Pearls is the focal point of these dramatic and elegant statement earrings, set in solid sterling silver.
Over the course of my jewelry career, I have had the pleasure of working with some very lovely luxury pearls for customers and jewelry stores alike. I hand selected a small batch of these fireball pearls, because I could not leave without them. These are some of the finest fireball pearls I have seen.
The color of fireball pearls can be difficult to describe as they can show many colors and take on different tones because of their nacre luster. I have photographed these pearls in both indoor and outdoor light, at various angles and light directions to attempt to show all of the subtle tones and colors they take on in different settings.
These have a body color of cream and pink with gold, green, blue, lavender and pink overtones. Set on torch fired sterling silver headpins and dangling from sterling silver chains, they make a timeless and memorable statement.
These earrings are one of a kind, you will receive the exact pair shown in photos.
THE DETAILS
-Genuine freshwater fireball pearls, baroque round in shape with lots of surface texture as typical of fireball pearls. Completely untreated and undyed, with gorgeous iridescent color and luster.
-Body color of pearls is soft cream pink with gold, green blue, lavender and pink overtones.
-Pearls are not identical to one another, as they each have their own unique features, however they are well matched in size, shape, luster and color tones.
-Pearls were hand selected by me from a highly trusted collector and distributor of fine pearls, based in Tennessee and Florida, with over 4 decades of continual successful business in the pearl industry.
-Total length of earrings from top of hooks to bottom of design is 63mm (just under 2 1/2″). Drop length from connecting point at bottom loop of earring hooks to bottom of design is 53mm 2 1/16″).
-Pearls measure 15mm (just under 5/8″) length (not including headpins) and 15mm (just under 5/8″) width at their widest point.
-Pearls are set on solid sterling silver torch fired headpins. Bottoms of headpins are left darkened from torch firing to add contrast and a contemporary edge to the design.
-Dangling from solid sterling silver 1.5mm cable chain and solid sterling silver earring hooks.
