ABOUT THIS PAINTING
This painting was a design for a mural that I was planning for child emotional awareness. The concept that as adults our words have a tremendous amount of power when it comes to the self-identity of children. This image identifies that power. This work is on thick art paper, I used pencil, water color, acrylic, and ink to create it.
THIS IS A STUDY – FROM THE STUDIO ARCHIVES
This is a study for the different series I create, In the past, I have stuck these in a drawer or folder once I had reached a design I liked. Some never become larger works. Many of my studies are experimentations with materials, images of real people, commission proposals, and images based on my imagination. Sometimes these become finished painting on paper, sometimes they are semi-finished as I am preparing my design for a large painting on stretched canvas. This painting is on paper and is original and one of a kind. This piece is signed and dated on the front or back.
