A beautiful raw fluorite octahedron crystal nested in a 14k rose gold filled woven bezel. The design is reminiscent of cathedral windows and old world lanterns, centering on the beauty of the light that passes through the crystal. A modern interpretation of a beautiful relic from times gone by. A fine silver nugget sits above the crystal connecting it to a 14k rose gold filled chain.
This fluorite crystal is raw and translucent, soft green in color with some beautiful inclusions. Yes, they come out of the earth this shape, it’s amazing!

THE DETAILS
-Genuine raw green fluorite octahedron crystal, soft pale green in color and translucent with beautiful inclusions.
-Fluorite is nested in a 14k rose gold filled hand woven wire bezel which holds the stone securely.
-Connecting the fluorite crystal to the chain is a fine silver (95-99% pure silver) faceted nugget which measures 3mm.
-Pendant measures 12mm (1/2″) length (not including the connecting link which adds about 3/8″), and 12mm (1/2″) width at it’s widest point.
-Chain is a 14k rose gold filled 1.1mm width 24″ length cable chain with small spring ring clasp. It looks delicate but is quite strong.

ABOUT FLUORITE
Fluorite is the mineral form of calcium fluoride, and forms naturally in cubic and octahedron shaped crystal structures, cut by miners who split the Fluorite along its natural cleave lines. Beautiful and fascinating examples of sacred geometry found in nature. Many specimens of fluorite exhibit fluorescence under ultraviolet light, a property that takes its name from fluorite. Fluorite forms in a vast array of colors and has thus been nicknamed “The most colorful mineral in the world.”
Fluorite is also known as the “Genius Stone”, said to clear away negativity and clouded thinking, allowing for clarity, focus, and balancing of mind and body.

ABOUT GOLD FILLED JEWELRY
Gold-filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of gold, which must constitute at least 5% (1/20) of the item’s total weight, mechanically bonded to sterling silver or a base metal (such as jeweler’s brass). Gold-filled items are 5 to 10 times thicker than regular gold plating, and 15 to 25 times thicker than gold electroplate, making it much more valuable and longer lasting because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film as on plated jewelry which is estimated to be 0.05% or less of the metal product. Most gold-filled is 12kt or 14kt gold-filled (I use 14kt for my pieces). Gold-filled does not de-laminate or peel like plated or “dipped” products. It is tarnish resistant and does not tarnish as readily as silver. Many find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. However, from time to time your jewelry may become dirty from everyday wear. To clean gold-filled it is best to use mild soap and water.
