A single solid sterling silver feather, unique in all the world. It’s texture shimmers and catches light, arching beautifully from a sparkling diamond cut sterling silver chain. Something captivating indeed…

Gingerly hand sawn out of solid 20 gauge Sterling silver sheet, meticulously cut and filed, carefully hammer textured and then soldered and polished to be a one of a kind feather that can never be exactly duplicated. There is something so special about it’s uniqueness, it’s un-replicatable-ness, just like a real feather, it is entirely it’s own.

This necklace is made to order with your choice of chain length, the one shown in the photos is sold. Your feather will be uniquely hand forged for you with it’s own nuances while remaining true to the design shown.

THE DETAILS

-Unique sterling silver sideways oriented curved feather necklace on sterling silver diamond cut chain.

-Feather is hand sawn and hand forged out of solid sterling silver 20 gauge sheet (It is 1mm thick when completed). It is not bulky but it is not bendy either, it’s a nice solid pendant.

-Feather stem is hand formed of solid sterling silver 18 gauge wire and soldered securely into the design.

-Pendant measures 34mm (just under 1 3/8″) in width from one end to the other (not including the jump rings that attach it to the chain), and 8mm (5/16″) height from top to bottom at it’s largest part (please expect very slight variations as these are entirely hand forged).

-Feather is attached to chain by sterling jump rings which are soldered closed to ensure the integrity of the necklace.

-Chain is solid sterling silver 1mm diamond cut cable chain with spring ring clasp. It sparkles and moves like a dream.

-Choose your desired chain length from the drop down menu. (Necklace in photos is 17″ length).

Size Chart

NECKLACE LENGTH GUIDELINES

  • If you already know your desired necklace length, simply select it from the drop down menu. Sizes are listed by the inch. If you would like an in between size (example 18 1/2″) please select the closest size from the menu and then leave me a note at checkout requesting the size. I will accommodate the size request as closely as possible.
  • If you don’t know what length you need, here’s how to measure to get the proper size. Take a flexible tape measure and drape it around your neck at the length you want the necklace to lay. The measurement where the two ends meet is your necklace length.
  • If you don’t have a tape measure handy, you can use a string and a flat ruler. Simply drape the string around your neck in the same way as you would with a tape measure. Pinch the string on each end where the two ends meet, and then place that section of string against a flat ruler to get your measurement.
  • You can also measure the length of a necklace you own that fits how you like in order to get your measurement, but if you choose this method please try to measure a necklace that is of a similar style to this one or at least is designed to lay the same way. Different necklace styles can fit very differently even if they are the same length measured end to end.
