Description
ABOUT THIS PAINTING
This piece captures the moment when rebirth becomes unavoidable.
The surface fractures outward from the center, as if something inside could no longer remain contained. This is you. The face emerges through the vines, not gently, but with force. This is not a clean arrival. The edges are jagged. The texture is heavy. Everything about this moment suggests pressure, persistence, and refusal to disappear.
The branching lines radiating from the center feel like nerves, roots, or currents, systems activated by survival. They trace the path of stress and growth simultaneously, reminding us that transformation often happens under strain. What looks like breaking is also the body finding a way through.
The face is weathered, marked, and grounded. It does not ask permission to exist. It pushes forward despite the cost. This work speaks to the truth that rebirth is rarely graceful. More often, it is raw, uncomfortable, and earned through endurance.
