“Surrender to your own badassery.” A stamped cuff that I created because I think it just needed to be said. We sometimes fight and struggle against ourselves because – who knows why, only to eventually realize we need to just get out of our own way. In other words, give up the self limiting beliefs and just accept that you are way more incredible and unstoppable than you’ve previously allowed yourself to acknowledge. This is a simple rustic hammer forged brass cuff bracelet with stone hammered texture, stamped on the inside with the above quote, so you can always remember it.

THE DETAILS

-This bracelet has a thin minimalist profile but was constructed to be sturdy and lasting. I started with solid 8 gauge brass stock, which was hammer formed and shaped completely by hand into a cuff with it’s own unique rustic texture. After the hammer forming, it was meticulously refined, filed and polished by hand, to ensure that it is absolutely comfortable to wear.

-Stamped on the inside with the phrase “Surrender to your own badassery.” in Typewriter font. Also stamped with my “KA” maker’s mark.

-Bracelet is approximately 5mm (about 3/16″) tall top to bottom, and 1.5mm cuff thickness inside to outside. It can be gently flexed open or closed to fit most wrists between 5″ and 7.5″ (feel free to drop me a note with your wrist size and I can make sure the bracelet arrives to you flexed to the proper fit for your wrist.

-Bracelet was finished by polishing to a high shine finish which looks great and protects the integrity of the metal.

ABOUT JEWELER’S BRASS

Jeweler’s Brass, also known as Red Brass or Merlin’s Gold is a type of brass that is higher in copper content than standard yellow brass (at approximately 85% copper) which gives it the same look and tone as 14k yellow gold.

My jeweler’s brass jewelry is made of solid brass which may darken and patina over time depending on conditions, though not as quickly as copper. These pieces are polished but not lacquered, and they are very easy to clean.
