Description

A tiny nature getaway that you can take everywhere. This domed disk necklace is hand forged in one solid piece of antiqued solid sterling silver and hand debossed with a one of a kind nature scene (each element is individually placed, resulting in a scene that can never be exactly duplicated). The top loop curves over forming a setting for a genuine Baltic Amber stone, creating the glowing sun element.

A sturdy antiqued sterling silver chain finishes the piece with a toggle clasp. Chain is 18 inches in length.

THE DETAILS

-Pendant is 20 gauge solid sterling silver and one continuous piece forming top loop and stone setting. Hammer forged and hand debossed with a unique nature scene.

-Pendant measures 39mm tall, 27mm width, convex (domed in shape).

-Genuine Baltic Amber measuring 8mm has been securely bezel set into the pendant with an open back setting so light can travel through the stone.

-Sterling silver has been antiqued to bring out each element of the nature scene and enhance it’s rustic textures and theme.

-Stamped on backside with my “KA” makers mark and .925 sterling silver quality stamp.

ABOUT AMBER

Amber is an organic gem which forms from the hardened, fossilized sap or resin of coniferous trees. It often contains bubbles and inclusions from air pockets and small plant or animal fragments becoming encapsulated in the sap prior to fossilization. Genuine Amber is more than a million years old and has been prized for centuries as a gemstone as well as sought after as an ingredient for perfumes and a healing agent in folk remedies. Its transparency and color varies, however the most common colors are orange, yellow and brown.

Amber is known as the “Soul Of The Tiger” stone, said to radiate both calming and energizing energies, helping to bring peace of mind and clarity, as well as dissolving oppositions and negative feelings. Also said to aid in letting go of the past and self imposed obstacles, it is believed to offer protection and optimism in taking new directions.
