“Lightning Over the Foothills” – Tree of Life pendant necklace. Entirely hand forged and woven, featuring solid antiqued sterling silver and a brilliant labradorite stone with flash that looks like lightning across an evening sky.
One of my favorite things to do in life is sit on my front porch and watch a storm roll in. We’re in the Appalachian Foothills, and watching the clouds move over and through them is something to behold. This stone captures that energy and color of a storm in a remarkable way.
The setting is unique and one of a kind, forged in solid antiqued sterling silver with a one of a kind backing in a lightning bolt shape. Mounted in a very secure antiqued sterling silver bezel, which flows together beautifully into the tree design on the front of the stone. Completing the design is a very sturdy antiqued sterling silver chain with an extender, making it adjustable.
This necklace is one of a kind, you will receive the exact one shown in the photos.
THE DETAILS
-Pendant measures 39mm (just over 1.5″) tall (not including the top loop which adds about 1/4″), 25mm (1″) wide, and about 8mm (just over 1/4″) deep.
-The stone is a genuine natural oval cut Labradorite with incredible blue, gold, and silver flashes that look like lightning, and darker muted tones toward the bottom that look like hillsides at night.
-Setting is entirely hand forged and woven in solid antiqued Sterling silver. On the back side, a unique lightning bolt design.
-Chain is a 1.5mm solid antiqued sterling silver cable chain with lobster claw clasp and extender, making it adjustable from 24″ to 28″.
-Each of my Tree of Life necklaces are one of a kind, no two are ever the same. I absolutely love creating these and watching them take form. They always amaze and delight me with their unique personalities when they’re completed.
