“Promise of Spring” –  Tree of Life pendant necklace. Entirely hand forged and woven, featuring solid antiqued sterling silver and a wondrous dendritic agate stone with one singular blue chip diamond “sprout” accent.

Reminiscent of a winter wonderland at the very end of winter… all is quiet, when you spot the very first signs of life and the promise that spring will return.

The setting is unique and one of a kind, forged in solid antiqued sterling silver with a one of a kind backing in a double koru spiral shape (paying homage to new foliage fronds in the springtime). Mounted in a very secure antiqued sterling silver bezel, which flows together beautifully into the tree design on the front of the stone. Completing the design is a very sturdy antiqued sterling silver chain with an extender, making it adjustable.

This necklace is one of a kind, you will receive the exact one shown in the photos.

THE DETAILS

-Pendant measures 30mm (just under 1 1/4″) tall (not including the top loop which adds about 1/4″), 32mm (1 1/4″) wide, and about 8mm (just over 1/4″) deep.

-The stone is a genuine rounded square cut dendritic agate with amazing contrast and a monochromatic color palette. There is a portion of the stone where it’s translucent and you can gaze into it, revealing internal mossy inclusions.

-Tree of life features one tiny raw blue chip diamond dangling from a branch, representing the first “sprout” or sign of spring to come.

-Setting is entirely hand forged and woven in solid antiqued Sterling silver. On the back side, a unique koru spiral design representing new spring fronds and the interplay of the seasons as they change.

-Chain is a 1.5mm solid antiqued sterling silver cable chain with lobster claw clasp and extender, making it adjustable from 20″ to 24″.

ABOUT DENDRITIC AGATE

Dendritic Agate is a variety of Chalcedony (a form of quartz) with mossy or branching fern like inclusions which are iron or manganese oxide deposits, reminiscent of natural flora. It is typically monochromatic (black, white, beige) and ranges from opaque to translucent. It can be found in the United States, Brazil, Madagascar, and India as well as some other locations.

Dendritic Agate is considered to be a stone of grounding and stability, connection to nature, personal growth, and emotional healing. It has a calming, soothing, reassuring energy and is believed to impart a well balanced overall energy and clarity to the wearer.
