The Mermaid Art series explores the intersection of logic and magic. To me, the mermaid is a fascinating symbol because she occupies the space between what is “real” and what is imagined, she is a creature of wonder and fear, beauty and danger. This series asks a simple question: How do you see the mermaid? Is she a beautiful wonder, a treacherous siren, or a dream that we’ve been told is impossible?
