Description

One of the oldest symbols known to us, the circle has been around since before the beginning of recorded history, representing many ideas to many cultures. Eternity, natural order, life cycles, elemental forces, sacred geometry, the universe itself. This pendant necklace is a beautiful and simple representation of a timeless and powerful symbol.

I start with 12 gauge solid 14k yellow gold which gets hammer formed and shaped completely by hand into a beautiful and unique circle with it’s own rustic texture, no two are ever the same. After the hammer forming, it gets meticulously refined, filed and polished by hand, to ensure that it is beautiful and long lasting. Finally it is placed free floating on a sparkling diamond cut sterling silver chain to complete the design.

This necklace is made to order and each one is unique, the one in the photos is sold and yours will be created just for you in your choice of chain length.

THE DETAILS

-Hand formed solid 14k yellow gold rustic circle pendant with hammer texture.

-Circle pendant measures 20mm (just over 3/4″) diameter, and about 1.5mm thickness (please expect very slight variations as these are hand forged).

-Stamped on the backside with 14k gold hallmark.

-You may choose to personalize this piece with a custom stamping on the backside (see below for guidelines). Custom stamping is optional, simply leave the personalization box blank if you don’t want any stamping on the back.

-Circle is free floating on a solid sterling silver sparkling diamond cut 1.1mm cable chain with small spring ring clasp. This chain is quite sturdy for it’s delicate look and the links catch light beautifully. Alternatively, if you are interested in a solid 14k gold chain for this necklace, please contact me for current pricing and availability.

-Choose your desired chain length from the first drop down menu. (Necklace in photos is 16″ length).

NECKLACE LENGTH GUIDELINES

If you already know your desired necklace length, simply select it from the drop down menu. Sizes are listed by the inch. If you would like an in between size (example 18 1/2″) please select the closest size from the menu and then leave me a note at checkout requesting the size. I will accommodate the size request as closely as possible.

If you don’t know what length you need, here’s how to measure to get the proper size. Take a flexible tape measure and drape it around your neck at the length you want the necklace to lay. The measurement where the two ends meet is your necklace length.

If you don’t have a tape measure handy, you can use a string and a flat ruler. Simply drape the string around your neck in the same way as you would with a tape measure. Pinch the string on each end where the two ends meet, and then place that section of string against a flat ruler to get your measurement.

You can also measure the length of a necklace you own that fits how you like in order to get your measurement, but if you choose this method please try to measure a necklace that is of a similar style to this one or at least is designed to lay the same way. Different necklace styles can fit very differently even if they are the same length measured end to end.

That’s it! Then choose your necklace measurement from the drop down menu and I will create your necklace to your desired length.

Thank you so much for visiting my shop! If you have any questions about this design or any of the designs in my shop, please contact me, I’m happy to help!
