A sweet and dainty minimalist pendant necklace, featuring a shimmering ivory coin shaped mother of pearl set in a 14k rose gold filled double spiral wire mounting. The double spiral is reminiscent of a yin yang symbol and the design represents duality and balance in all things.

A dainty sparkling 14k rose gold filled chain with spring ring clasp completes the design. Worn alone or layered with other necklaces, this makes a great staple piece for everyday wear.

THE DETAILS

-Necklace features a genuine coin shaped mother of pearl bead which is ivory in color with shimmering surface patterning. Please allow for slight variances in ivory hue and surface patterning as these are natural mother of pearl.

-Mother of pearl pendant is 10mm (3/8″) in diameter (not including top pendant loop, which adds about 1/8″) and 3.5mm (1/8″) thickness front to back.

-Mother of pearl bead is mounted securely in a 14k rose gold filled wire setting that runs through the center of the bead and wraps up around the front of the bead to form the spiral design.

-Chain is a delicate 1.4mm 14k rose gold filled cable chain with small spring ring clasp. These links catch light beautifully. *Please Note* This chain is quite sturdy for it’s delicate look, but as with any fine chain, should be handled with due care.

-Choose your desired chain length from the first drop down menu. (Necklace in photos is 16″ length).

-These are hand formed and each one has slight variances and it’s own subtle features, but will remain true to the design shown here.

ABOUT GOLD FILLED JEWELRY

Gold-filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of gold, which must constitute at least 5% (1/20) of the item’s total weight, mechanically bonded to sterling silver or a base metal (such as jeweler’s brass). Gold-filled items are 5 to 10 times thicker than regular gold plating, and 15 to 25 times thicker than gold electroplate, making it much more valuable and longer lasting because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film as on plated jewelry which is estimated to be 0.05% or less of the metal product. Most gold-filled is 12kt or 14kt gold-filled (I use 14kt for my pieces). Gold-filled does not de-laminate or peel like plated or “dipped” products. It is tarnish resistant and does not tarnish as readily as silver. Many find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. However, from time to time your jewelry may become dirty from everyday wear. To clean gold-filled it is best to use mild soap and water.
