The triangle has represented so many things to so many cultures throughout the ages, that it would be impossible to cover them all. From a depiction of the elemental forces of fire (upward pointing) and water (downward pointing), to it’s mathematical, scientific and alchemical importance, to it’s religious and spiritual significance, it is undoubtedly one of the most ubiquitous symbols of all time.

One thing the triangle universally represents is strength. Any weight placed on a triangle is evenly distributed between all three sides, making it a powerful symbol of solid foundation. Whatever the triangle means to you, this pendant necklace is a beautiful and simple representation of a symbol which will surely persist throughout all of time and space.

I start with solid 12 gauge sterling silver which gets hammer formed and shaped completely by hand into a beautiful and unique triangle with it’s own rustic texture, no two are ever the same. After the hammer forming, it gets meticulously refined, filed and polished by hand, to ensure that it is beautiful and long lasting. Finally it is knotted onto a simple black leather cord which is adjustable, to complete the piece. This triangle can be rotated around to face upward or downward on the cord, depending on how you want to wear it (see photos for examples of both).

This necklace is made to order and each one is unique, the one in the photos is sold and yours will be created just for you.

THE DETAILS

-Hand formed solid sterling silver rustic triangle pendant with hammer texture.

-Triangle can rotate on cord to be worn facing upward or downward (photos show examples of both).

-Triangle pendant measures 25mm (1″) from point to opposite flat side, and about 1.5mm thickness (please expect very slight variations as these are hand forged).

-Stamped on backside with .925 sterling stamp.

-1.8mm black leather adjustable cord with sliding knots completes the design. Cord adjusts from 16″ to 28″ total length.
