Inspired by the 1920’s Art Deco “Pools Of Light” jewelry designs, is the “Deep Mirror Orb”. A smooth metallic Hematite stone orb dangles and reflects light beautifully as the focal point of this “Y” style lariat necklace. Solid sterling chain and solid sterling findings complete the design. A nod to the golden age with a modern minimalist aesthetic, this necklace is versatile, adjustable and so much fun to wear alone or layered with other necklaces.

Hematite is known and prized for it’s grounding, calming, and protecting properties, like a smooth orb of the deepest dark still waters, reflecting the night. It is said to bring balancing and healing energies to it’s surroundings.

This necklace is made to order, the one in the photos is sold and yours will be created just for you with it’s own smooth metallic hematite orb.

THE DETAILS

-Lariat features a mirror-like polished 10mm round Hematite orb, center drilled.

-Hematite is a deep grey/black in color and is opaque (light does not pass through), metallic and highly reflective.

-Hematite orb is mounted on a solid sterling silver torch fired headpin which runs through the center of the orb and then wraps fluidly around both sides. Bottom of headpin is left darkened from torch firing to add contrast and a contemporary edge to the design.

-Necklace chain and all findings are solid sterling silver.

-Chain is a solid sterling silver 1.5mm width cable chain with spring ring clasp, and solid sterling silver bead links which clasp can hook onto.

-Necklace is adjustable and can be clasped at the following lengths: 16″, 18″, 20″, 22″. The higher up the necklace is clasped, the longer the bottom “Y” portion becomes. Last four photos show necklace worn at all the length options. Total length of necklace laid flat from spring ring to top loop of quartz orb is 22″.
