“Mirror Orb” Sterling Silver Hematite Stone Dangle Earrings

Inspired by the 1920’s Art Deco “Pools Of Light” jewelry designs are the “Mirror Orb” earrings. Smooth metallic Hematite stone orbs dangle and reflect light beautifully in their solid sterling silver wire settings. Solid sterling chain and solid sterling ear hooks complete the design. A nod to the golden age with a modern minimalist aesthetic, they make an elegant and timeless statement.

Hematite is known and prized for it’s grounding, calming, and protecting properties, like a smooth orb of the deepest dark still waters, reflecting the night. It is said to bring balancing and healing energies to it’s surroundings.

These earrings are made to order, the pair in the photos is sold and yours will be created just for you with their own smooth metallic hematite orbs.

THE DETAILS

-Earrings feature mirror-like polished 10mm round Hematite orbs, center drilled.

-Hematite orbs are a deep grey/black in color and are opaque (light does not pass through), metallic and highly reflective.

-Hematite orbs are mounted on solid sterling silver torch fired headpins which run through the center of the orbs and then wrap fluidly around both sides. Bottoms of headpins are left darkened from torch firing to add contrast and a contemporary edge to the design.

-Earring hooks, chain and all findings are solid sterling silver.

-Total length of earrings from top of hooks to bottom of design is about 54mm (2 1/8″). Earring drop length from bottom loop of earring hooks to bottom of orbs is 41mm (1 5/8″).
