Description
This two tone chain necklace is modern, minimalist, pretty and so much fun to wear. Featuring hand carved 3mm fine silver faceted nuggets and 14k yellow gold filled chain, wire loops and clasp, it moves and catches light beautifully, is incredibly versatile and will look amazing alone or layered with other jewelry.
This design is similar in style to my Sparkly Nugget Trail Lariat, but with two notable differences: The fine silver faceted nuggets are spaced closer together (1 inch intervals), and this necklace will be made in your choice of length to suit your desired look.

THE DETAILS
-Chain is 14k yellow gold filled cable chain 1.5mm in width, 14k yellow gold filled wire loops and 14k yellow gold filled spring ring clasp.
-Hand carved fine silver (95-99% pure silver) faceted nuggets spaced 1 inch apart, adorn the chain.
-Choose your desired necklace length from the drop menu. Necklace shown in photos is 20″ and shown worn at different lengths and styles.
-Multi length / style necklace: Wear various ways depending upon the length you choose. Clasp can be hooked onto any of the loops in the design to create different lengths and various wearing styles (see photos for some examples).

ABOUT GOLD FILLED JEWELRY
Gold-filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of gold, which must constitute at least 5% (1/20) of the item’s total weight, mechanically bonded to sterling silver or a base metal (such as jeweler’s brass). Gold-filled items are 5 to 10 times thicker than regular gold plating, and 15 to 25 times thicker than gold electroplate, making it much more valuable and longer lasting because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film as on plated jewelry which is estimated to be 0.05% or less of the metal product. Most gold-filled is 12kt or 14kt gold-filled (I use 14kt for my pieces). Gold-filled does not de-laminate or peel like plated or “dipped” products. It is tarnish resistant and does not tarnish as readily as silver. Many find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. However, from time to time your jewelry may become dirty from everyday wear. To clean gold-filled it is best to use mild soap and water.
ABOUT FINE SILVER
My fine silver beads and components are made completely by hand in the remote mountain area of Northern Thailand by the Karen Hill Tribe. Known and respected for their skill and expert craftsmanship in silver smithing, and using centuries old techniques, these artisans create pieces of a distinctive style unique to them. Karen Hill Tribe silver pieces are made of a higher purity than 92.5% sterling silver. Because the actual range is 95-99% purity, these pieces are softer, have a whiter color and will not tarnish as readily as sterling silver. Beads may have a visible seam. Sizes and shapes may vary slightly with these handcrafted items. All of my Hill Tribe fine silver is purchased directly from the source using ethical and fair trade practices.
